Elon Musk’s latest appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience has allowed him to break his silence on the Biden administration’s discrimination lawsuit against SpaceX, which was recently dropped by the Department of Justice.

Following hints that his now sixth appearance on Joe Rogan’s massive podcast would be ‘spicy tamale’, Elon Musk has further asserted his belief that Joe Biden and his administration was ‘against’ him and his companies, using a lawsuit as ‘proof’ of this.

The lawsuit, initially filed in 2023, accused Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX of violating federal law by requiring job applicants to be either a US citizen or permanent resident within America – which they claim was discriminatory against refugees and asylum seekers.

Just last month saw this particular lawsuit dropped after the Department of Justice filed an unopposed motion to lift a stay on the case, as reported by the New York Post, and Musk has now taken the opportunity to weigh in on it himself:Play

“People say like ‘Elon’s making it up, the Biden administration wasn’t against SpaceX’, I’m like, bro the Department of Justice had a massive lawsuit against SpaceX for not hiring asylum seekers, even though it is illegal for us to hire anyone that isn’t a permanent resident,” Musk claimed on Rogan’s show.

Musk points to a law that states that anyone hired by a rocket company, which is an ‘advanced weapons technology’, must be a permanent resident, adding that is “both legal and illegal to hire asylum seekers.”

He then links this lawsuit to his own claims that the Biden administration had it out to get him, remarking:

“It’s not my imagination, why would they launch such a massive lawsuit against SpaceX? They’re extremely antagonistic.”

This position was echoed at the time the lawsuit was brought to SpaceX, with Musk remarking that “this is yet another case of weaponization of the DOJ for political purposes.”

On top of this, he has accused the Biden administration of purposefully leaving stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on the International Space Station due to their ‘grudge’ against SpaceX, who are supplying the rocket that would allow them to return home.

This is not the case, as holdups are due to technical issues with the Crew-10 spaceship, indicated by the fact that they still haven’t returned home despite President Trump’s urge to ‘go get’ the pair.

Some have alleged that Musk himself is ‘weaponizing’ his position of power within the current Trump administration to favor companies like SpaceX, particularly in reference to rumors that Starlink is receiving a $2.4 billion air traffic control contract initially given to Verizon, alongside the removal of an FAA fine against SpaceX that was reviewed by DOGE officials within the administration.Featured Image Credit: Justin Sullivan / Staff / Getty

Elon Musk has teased his next appearance on the highly popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast as ‘spicy tamale’, as he’s set to discuss his role in government, his various companies, and even alien life.

Joe Rogan’s self-titled podcast has remained near the top of the charts for years now, and despite a small blip a few months ago where a new contender snatched the throne, Rogan’s popularity is largely unmatched.

He’s featured countless high-profile guests from a wide variety of places, including names like Mike Tyson, Bill Burr, Edward Snowden, and even current US President Donald Trump.

Controversially, his refusal to have Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris on the podcast pre-election landed him in hot water, but his viewership has remained consistent and faithful despite this, with many arguing that his decision to favor Trump played a part in his victory.

One key high-profile regular on the show is Elon Musk, who has appeared in five previous episodes with his first (#1169) being all the way back in September 2018.

He’s now set to appear once again for a sixth time, teasing his own appearance as ‘spicy’ on his social media account.

“Just did a long @JoeRogan episode,” declared Musk, following it up by explaining that it “will be a spicy tamale [chilli emoji] [laughing emoji].”

‘The Roundtable Show’ host Mario Nawfal has given further insight into the potential topics that Musk and Rogan will likely end up discussing, and it’ll certainly give many a reason to tune in.

“With Elon and Joe’s track record of no-holds-barred conversations, the speculation is already running wild about what they might have tackled this time around,” writes Nawfal on X.

“Most likely topics are the Department of Government Efficiency slashing bureaucracy, Tesla, SpaceX, Trump’s D.C. shakeup, and of course…aliens.”

This would be Musk’s first appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience since Trump officially returned to office as president for a second term, appointing Elon as head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

He has become keenly involved in government affairs, slashing large sums of federal spending, which some experts have called into question, and targeting the jobs of over 100,000 employees through a widespread email request.

Musk and DOGE’s actions have been made active through their official X accounts, so there’s no doubt that much of what has happened so far in the current administration will be revealed with relative transparency.

Many will also be keenly listening out for any Tesla news following disappointing sales reports at the end of 2024, alongside criticism surrounding the implementation of full self-driving (FSD) tech in older Tesla vehicles.Featured Image Credit: PowerfulJRE / YouTube

Elon Musk doubles down on shocking claim about ‘stranded’ NASA astronauts in Joe Rogan interview

He’s putting the blame firmly on the Biden administration

We imagine you don’t get to become the world’s richest man without having to make some pretty tough decisions or by holding your tongue.

Known as someone to speak his mind, Elon Musk has again fired shots at NASA and the situation involving astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore.

While Williams has previously insisted they aren’t ‘stranded’, the pair have been stuck aboard the International Space Station since July 2024 when they flew on the first crewed mission of the Boeing Starliner.

Although the mission was only supposed to take eight days, an issue with their craft meant it was sent back unmanned, and they were marooned in the stars.

President Donald Trump has called on Musk to ‘go get’ the astronauts, while NASA has confirmed when their rescue is due to happen.

Williams and Wilmore have been on the ISS for over eight months (NASA)

There’s been much debate about when they’ll be brought back, with Musk suggesting the Biden administration purposefully left them up there for political reasons. This irked ESA astronaut Andreas Morgensen, who branded Musk a liar for these claims.

In return, Musk called Morgensen an ‘idiot’, and the whole thing turned into a bit of an internet feud. In one particularly heated exchange, Musk wrote: “You are fully retarded.

SpaceX could have brought them back several months ago.

“I OFFERED THIS DIRECTLY to the Biden administration and they refused.

“Return WAS pushed back for political reasons. Idiot.”

Musk has once again discussed the fates of Williams and Wilmore, this time, giving his own thoughts in an interview with Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Reiterating his plan to build a civilization on Mars, Musk then addressed the astronauts when Rogan asked if he was still supposed to be rescuing them.

Musk said: “Yeah, that’s coming up in a couple of weeks…They were supposed to be up there for like eight days, and they’ve been up there for like I think eight months, so a little longer than expected.”

When Rogan asked what it will be like for the pair trying to adjust to life back on Earth, Musk continued to explain some of the side effects of extended stay in space and referred to the whole situation as ‘political football’ after the Biden administration supposedly rejected his offer to bring them back much earlier.Play

Explaining his stance on the situation, the billionaire concluded: “There’s no way they’re [the Biden administration] going to make anyone who’s supporting Trump look good.”

Musk went on to say the Biden administration was trying to sue SpaceX for not hiring asylum seekers, so it’s clear there’s no love lost there.

He claimed that the SpaceX Dragon is the only craft considered safe enough to rescue the astronauts, and while the Russians could’ve used their own rockets to get them, Musk thinks they would’ve charged ‘crazy’ money and used it as a propaganda victory.

It’s clear Musk still has a bee in his bonnet about all of this, but at least we’re one day closer to getting Williams and Wilmore back on terra firma.Featured Image Credit: PowerfulJRE/YouTube

While some celebrities amid controversy simply apologize or go silent, Elon Musk is leaning right into it with a Nazi joke when talking about the controversial ‘gesture’ he made at President Trump’s inauguration during an interview with Joe Rogan.

Weeks after making what many interpreted as a ‘Nazi salute’ at the 47th President’s inauguration, the now-head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) returned to The Joe Rogan experience podcast on February 28 and discussed the situation.Play

At around the 10:45 mark of the above podcast, when asked about his experience of buying X (formerly Twitter) for $44 billion and have its users call him a Nazi, Musk responded: “I did not see it coming”, pronounced in a way that “not” and “see” come together like “na-zi”.

Following a burst of laughter from Rogan in response to the joke, the 53-year-old tech billionaire doubled down with “people will Goebbels anything down”, a reference to the Nazi Party’s chief propagandist and Reich Minister of Propaganda throughout World War II.

Although Musk had already made these jokes on an X post he made during late January 2025, delivering them in person has at least seemed to get the laughs he wanted out of Rogan.

Despite all the criticism Musk has received since Trump’s inauguration, Rogan still wasn’t afraid to come to his defence. Rogan said: “There’s so many examples of people saying ‘my heart goes out to’ while motioning a similar gesture”, along with “You did it with a little enthusiasm that probably wouldn’t be recommended with hindsight….”

Musk replied with a clarification. He said: “It was obviously meant in the most positive spirit possible”, along with another joke saying that he can no longer point at things diagonally — only being able to do so straight ahead or directly above, telling people “now, you’ll have to divide that, because that’s where the space ship is”.

As he mentions in the clip from the same podcast episode Musk shared in a later X post, saying “Hopefully, people will realize that I’m not a Nazi”.

In the same clip, after saying “you can’t escape tis bullsh***”, Musk lays out distinctions that intend to make it clear he is not a Nazi. He said “What’s relevant about Nazis, is like, ‘are you invading Poland?’, and if you’re not invading Poland, maybe you’re not. Like, you have to be committing genocide and starting wars”.

He added: “Like, what is bad about Nazis is that, it’s not- it wasn’t their fashion sense or their mannerisms… it was the war and genocide, not their mannerisms and their dress code”.

While there will undoubtedly be those who disagree with that statement, there are others still speaking in aid of Musk as well. One such group is Jewish rights group, The Anti-Defamation League.

In their own post on X, the group brings their own take saying: “This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety.”

The group followed with what seemed to be understanding for Musk. They added: “It seems that

@elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge. In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.”

Whether getting in front of the controversy and addressing it head on will help Musk move on from it remains to be seen. Maybe another Mike Myers impersonation of Elon Musk on SNL will help, but only time will tell for now.Featured Image Credit: PowerfulJRE/YouTube

Elon Musk announces possible investigation into Fort Knox to check that $428,000,000,000 of gold hasn’t been ‘stolen’

“Last time anyone looked was 50 years ago”

Elon Musk might be heading to Fort Knox to check on $428 billion worth of gold in the US.

The head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been invited to Fort Knox to take a look at the largest gold reserves in the US after he discovered there’s no yearly review for it.

The suggestion was floated when a libertarian-leaning news aggregator with two million followers called Zero Hedge posted on X.

“It would be great if Elon Musk could take a look inside Fort Knox just to make sure the 4,580 tons of US gold is there,” Zero Hedge wrote. “Last time anyone looked was 50 years ago in 1974.”

The tech billionaire then responded to the post: “Surely it’s reviewed at least every year?”

But Republican Senator Paul of Kentucky replied: “Nope. Let’s do it.”

Now, some are questioning whether the SpaceX founder will add the U.S. gold reserves to his list of concerns and take a trip to the Fort Knox military base.

Since President Donald Trump returned to the White House and put Musk in a position of power in Washington, the South African has targeted areas for budget cuts that will save the federal government from ‘wasteful spending.’

Senator Paul, who has reportedly spent the last decade trying to verify himself to the military base ‘to make sure it’s all there’ has spoken about the need for greater transparency. He originally received permission to visit during the first Trump administration, but the trip did not go ahead.

“I think some of them may not think it needs to be audited all the time, but I think the more sunlight, the better, more transparency, the better,” Paul explained.

The Bullion Depository holds around 147 million troy ounces of gold, representing over half (56%) of the US federal gold reserves.

Guarded by the US Mint Police, the total US reserve sits at more than 8,100 tonnes, making it the largest in the world, according to the World Gold Council.

As of current, the stash of 147 million gold ounces is equivalent to just around $430 billion (£341 billion) – which is a little over Elon Musk’s net worth in case you were wondering.

Despite not backing the dollar directly anymore, the reserves act as a financial safety net against inflation as well as maintain public confidence in the economy.

And also, it brings attention to the fact that gold still has value and implicitly, not explicitly, but implicitly, gold still gives value to the dollar,” Paul explained.

“That’s why we don’t get rid of it. We’ve got it. The IMF has it, the World Bank has it. Most of the central banks… around the world have gold, and it’s an implicit trust that the dollar still has some backing.”
